About SlimTheory

SlimTheory is a self-led wellness membership designed to provide eligible members with medication access, educational resources, practical tracking tools and access to a private member community.

SlimTheory is not a substitute for your primary care provider or other healthcare professionals involved in your care. Individual medical questions and concerns should be directed to an appropriate licensed healthcare professional.

SlimTheory is not an emergency service. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek emergency medical care immediately.

Eligibility

To join SlimTheory, you must be at least 18 years old, reside in the United States, provide complete and accurate information during screening and enrollment, meet the applicable eligibility requirements for your selected program and agree to follow these Terms and all related membership policies.

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee immediate enrollment or eligibility for a particular program or medication. Enrollment is invitation-only. When invited, you must complete SlimTheory’s screening and enrollment process before your membership can begin.

SlimTheory may decline, delay or discontinue enrollment when eligibility requirements have not been met or when a program is unavailable.

Accurate information

You agree to provide complete, truthful and current information throughout screening, enrollment and membership. You are responsible for promptly updating information that may affect your participation, including changes to your health or medical history, current medications, contact information, shipping address and payment information.

Providing false, incomplete or misleading information may result in delayed service, canceled orders or termination of membership.

Membership accounts

Your membership and account are personal to you and may not be transferred, shared, sold or assigned to another person.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, preventing unauthorized access, reviewing the accuracy of your account information and notifying SlimTheory if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not allow another person to use your membership, obtain medication through your account or access member-only resources using your credentials.

Memberships, billing and payments

SlimTheory memberships are billed monthly on a recurring basis. Your recurring billing date is the calendar day on which you first enroll. Current program pricing and available membership options are displayed on the SlimTheory website. Medication is included in the listed monthly membership price unless otherwise stated during enrollment.

SlimTheory accepts major debit and credit cards and available pay-later options such as Afterpay, Klarna and Zip. SlimTheory does not accept insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA) funds or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds.

By enrolling, you authorize your selected recurring payment method to be charged until your membership is paused, canceled or otherwise terminated. Additional terms appear in the Subscription Policy.

Payment and monthly shipment eligibility

Payment must be successfully completed by the 15th of the month for your order to be included in that month’s shipment period.

Payments successfully completed after the 15th are not guaranteed inclusion in the current month’s shipment period. If your medication cannot be shipped for that month, the applicable payment will be refunded in full.

Orders generally ship during the third week of each month, beginning on the third Monday, via USPS. Shipping dates are estimates and may be affected by weekends, holidays, carrier delays, supply availability and circumstances outside SlimTheory’s control.

Program, medication and dosage changes

Requests to change your program, medication or dosage are handled during the monthly dosage consultation period. Requests submitted by email or outside the designated consultation process may not be completed before the next billing or shipment cycle.

SlimTheory cannot guarantee that a requested medication, dosage or program change will be approved or available.

Medication responsibility

If medication is made available through your membership, you agree to use it only as directed, follow all accompanying instructions and warnings, store it safely and appropriately, keep it away from children and unauthorized individuals, and never sell, transfer, distribute or share it with another person.

You are responsible for seeking appropriate medical attention if you experience concerning symptoms or side effects and for consulting an appropriate healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, medication use or treatment.

Shipping and delivery

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address before your shipment is processed. Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, delivery timing and handling may be outside SlimTheory’s direct control.

If a package is delayed, lost, stolen, misdelivered or affected by an incorrect address, you may be required to work directly with USPS or the applicable carrier to submit a claim.

A replacement required because of an incorrect address, an unclaimed package or another circumstance outside SlimTheory’s control may require an additional payment equal to one month of membership. If the issue resulted from an error made by SlimTheory, SlimTheory will correct it at no additional cost.

Refunds, pauses and cancellations

Active members may pause their own membership directly through the member portal. A confirmed pause stops future eligible recurring charges and shipments. Membership payments are generally nonrefundable once the associated medication has shipped. If your membership is paused or canceled after a recurring payment has been processed but before the medication has shipped, that payment may be refunded in accordance with the Subscription Policy.

A pause lasting longer than one billing cycle may require you to restart the applicable titration process when your membership resumes. Canceling a membership does not reverse or refund an order that has already shipped.

Educational and community content

SlimTheory’s website, education library, tools, communications and community content are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They do not constitute individualized medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and should not replace guidance from an appropriate healthcare professional.

Member experiences, testimonials and community discussions represent individual experiences and do not guarantee that another member will receive the same results.

Community conduct

When participating in a SlimTheory community or member space, you may not harass, threaten or discriminate against another person; post another person’s private information; represent yourself as a SlimTheory professional; promote the sharing, sale or transfer of medication; post unlawful, misleading, abusive or harmful content; use the community for spam or solicitation; or interfere with the operation or security of the service.

SlimTheory may remove content or restrict community access when reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these Terms or comply with legal obligations.

Acceptable website use

You may not use SlimTheory’s website or services to violate applicable law, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, collect information about other users without permission, misrepresent your identity or relationship with SlimTheory, commercially exploit member-only materials without authorization, or obtain services through fraud or deception.

Intellectual property

The SlimTheory name, logo, program names, website design, written materials, educational content, graphics, tools and other original materials are owned by or licensed to SlimTheory.

Active members receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive and nontransferable right to access membership materials for their own use. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, license or create derivative works from SlimTheory materials without prior written permission.

Third-party services

SlimTheory may rely on third-party providers for payment processing, communications, shipping, website hosting and other operational functions. Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the provider’s terms and privacy practices.

SlimTheory is not responsible for interruptions, delays or errors caused solely by an independent third-party provider.

Electronic communications

By providing your contact information, you agree that SlimTheory may send operational communications concerning your waitlist registration, enrollment, account, billing, dosage consultations, orders, shipments and policy or service changes.

You may unsubscribe from eligible marketing messages, but you may still receive necessary transactional or account-related communications.

Availability and changes

SlimTheory may modify, suspend or discontinue a feature, membership option, medication program, price or service when reasonably necessary. When required, members will receive notice of material changes before they affect a future billing cycle.

Program availability may depend on eligibility, supply, operational capacity and other factors. SlimTheory does not guarantee the continued availability of a particular program, medication or dosage.

Suspension or termination

SlimTheory may suspend or terminate access for failure to complete payment, false or misleading information, medication misuse or transfer, account sharing, abusive or unsafe conduct, violation of these Terms, or legal, safety or eligibility concerns.

When appropriate, SlimTheory will provide notice and explain how any unshipped order or eligible refund will be handled. Provisions that reasonably should continue after termination remain in effect.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlimTheory’s website, membership materials and related services are provided on an “as available” basis. SlimTheory does not guarantee uninterrupted access, continued availability of a particular program or medication, or any specific health, wellness or weight-related result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlimTheory will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or membership services. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.

Privacy

SlimTheory’s collection and use of personal information are governed by the Privacy Policy. By using SlimTheory’s website or services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed that policy.

California law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before beginning a formal legal proceeding, you and SlimTheory agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the matter directly and in good faith. Nothing in this section limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

Changes to these Terms

SlimTheory may update these Terms as its services, policies or legal obligations change. Revised Terms will be posted with an updated effective date, and SlimTheory will provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects an active membership and notice is required.

Continued use of the website or membership after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
